Sand Finish

  • This style of finishing has become increasingly popular over the last few years. It is simple, modern and beautiful. Sand finish exposes the sand aggregates in the concrete mixture bringing them to the surface. It creates a non-slip surface that's soft and smooth on your feet while giving a very natural look to your concrete.

Exposed Aggregate

  • This finish is created by laying concrete, then removing the outer ‘skin’ to uncover decorative pebbles or aggregate. It is durable and skid resistant.

Broom

  • Broom finish creates a textured surface with very small noticeable grooves. This look is created by dragging a broom over the concrete while still wet. Decorative effects can be created by running the broom in various directions.

Unique Finishes.

Smooth Trowel:

  • A trowel is used in this technique to smooth and level the concrete, it creates a flat smooth finish often used on garage floors.

Stamped:

  • Concrete that is textured to resemble brick, wood planks, tile, stone and many other patterns.

Rake

  • Similar to broom finish but done by dragging a rake across wet concrete. This creates concrete with a lot of traction often used for steep driveways.
